SIG Business & Society: plenary

Chair: Julienne Brabet (University of Paris)

In Tallinn, during the EURAM 2011 annual conference, the B&S SIG will hold a first plenary session (Wednesday, June 1st, 14:00 to 15:45) to welcome all its members and, together, define its priorities and the ways to animate a fruitful cooperation.

We will present the 4 tracks of the B&S SIG in Talinn:
1. Business & Society General track
2. Accounting, auditing and control for sustainability: interdisciplinary perspectives
3. Alternative Approaches to Business Strategy and Management for Sustainable Development
4. Culture, Events and Institutional Dynamics
but also track projects for Rotterdam (for instance a new Bottom Of the Pyramid track)

We will then illustrate, with Maurizio Zollo (EMR co-editor ) and track chairs, 2 of our top priorities:
1. Create links with EMR and other general or specialized Journals in order to publish the research of the permanent tracks : Presentation of top journals welcoming B&S articles
2. Prepare answers to EU or national funding programs, through the work of the permanent tracks: Presentation of the G.O.L.DE.N. (“Global Organizational Learning and Development Network”) for Sustainability research program

Another SIG plenary is scheduled for Saturday, June 4th: 11:00 to 12:30 in order to prolonge those first discussions.
